About Joanna Dasari
Joanna Dasari is a Doctoral Therapy Extern who specializes in the treatment of children, teens, adults, and families. Her clinical interests include individuals navigating life with ADHD, anxiety, family systems, and supporting neurodivergent youth from an affirming, strengths-based perspective. She has previous experience providing individual and family therapy in community mental health and outpatient clinics, working with diverse populations across developmental stages. She integrates evidence-based approaches, including CBT and ACT, tailored to clients’ developmental stages, with an emphasis on flexibility and individualized care that meets each client where they are across the lifespan.
Joanna uses a collaborative, relational approach to create a warm, validating space where clients can feel seen, heard, and empowered. She aims to help clients access insight, build on their strengths, and deepen connection in their relationships.
Clients often describe her as warm, grounded, and thoughtful. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with loved ones, and reading fiction.
