About Amy Hageman
Amy is a Doctoral Therapy Extern who specializes in the treatment of individuals across the lifespan. Her clinical interests include trauma, neurodevelopmental disorders, maternal health concerns, suicidality, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. She has experience conducting neuropsychological assessments and clinical interviews with children, adolescents, and adults in private practice and is passionate about helping individuals better understand themselves and their emotional world. Amy also completed a social justice practicum focused on empowering individuals of all abilities through inclusive, growth-oriented programming. Before pursuing a career in clinical psychology, Amy spent nearly thirty years in the business world, bringing with her a deep well of real-life experience that informs her therapeutic style with empathy, practicality, and grounded insight. Amy takes a client-centered and collaborative approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to meet each person’s unique needs. She creates a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to face life’s challenges with resilience and clarity. In her free time, Amy enjoys being with her family, spending time in nature, tending to her garden, and relaxing with a good movie. Amy is also a Pilates instructor with a strong passion for the mind-body connection, which informs her holistic approach to well-being both in and out of the therapy room.
